Control under hood temperatures with DEI's 2" x 10' Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap. Titanium exhaust wrap is meant to keep the heat contained within the metal tubing of the exhaust system. Reduce under hood temperatures by up to 50% while providing additional horsepower, engine protection, and passenger comfort!
Pulverized lava rock is stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary weave to make titanium exhaust wrap with LR Technology. Titanium wrap is stronger and more durable than most exhaust wraps for improved thermal performance and reliability.
DEI's Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap can withstand a direct temperature of 1800F and an intermittent temperature of 2500F, which is about 500F more than regular exhaust wrap.
By limiting the radiant heat trapped inside the engine bay, air intake temperatures will be decreased for a cooler air charge. Also, less heat will be absorbed through the firewall so cabin temperatures will be kept to a minimum.
Not only does header wrap reduce under hood temperatures and vibration breakdown, but it also increases exhaust flow. By containing the heat and not letting it escape into the engine bay, the heat is expanded for a longer time period which increases the rate of gas flow out of the headers and through the exhaust system.

*Titanium exhaust wrap is not designed to be removed after it has been through heat cycles. The fibers lose their initial flexibility after they have been heated.
DEI Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap can be used on any exhaust systems, whether they are made from cast iron, stainless steel or anything in between. You can also use it on any other kind of metal or aluminum tubing. Cover your intercooler piping, turbo down pipe, air intake, and even the intake manifold.
The wrap works best with an overlap of 1/4". This should allow just enough heat out to ensure performance without damaging the exhaust. When following the 1/4" overlap rule, one 10 foot rolls can usually cover an Enfield bent pipe.
Why choose titanium exhaust wrap over standard exhaust wrap?
DEI's titanium wrap is both stronger and more durable than typical exhaust wrap and it can stand up to higher temperatures. Also, titanium wrap is much more flexible than standard exhaust wrap as it is made to stretch. Unlike regular wrap, it is not necessary to wet the titanium wrap.
